Students can extract, amplify and purify DNA or RNA sequences prior to outsourcing sequencing services/Meanwhile, the gene expression assays can be done independently with the Real-Time PCR machines.

Medical Museum
The Medical Museum exhibits various Pathology specimens and Anatomy models. The items displayed in the museum include plastinated specimens, formalin fixed specimens, plastic models and posters.
These items are also used for student learning activities. A computer is provided for online viewing of other medical museum exhibits and access to UTAR library.

The Clinical Skills Lab provides excellent learning opportunities and protected environment in which students practice clinical skills on manikins and silicon models before using them in clinical settings.
